The wheelbarrow in Haiti!

At the beginning of last fall, Gilles Cournoyer, a sponsor and volunteer, took the initiative to contact the ERIÉ company,  a wheelbarrow manufacturer,  asking them for spare parts to repair a damaged wheelbarrow in use at the Jérémie orphanage.

The response received from the owner was well beyond our expectations. Mr. Bilodeau graciously offered us 2 new wheelbarrows in addition to the parts necessary for the repair of the damaged wheelbarrow.

Knowing how much this work tool is used for all work at the orphanage, we are very grateful to Mr Bilodeau.

As can be seen in the photos on the gallery page, the new wheelbarrow, now on site, is very well used and greatly appreciated.

During an upcoming trip, a volunteer will have the task of assembling the second wheelbarrow which will be sent by boat in the summer of 2021.
